Blackberries have been cultivated in Serbia for over 30 years and have become a significant export product. Their black fruits, rich in antioxidants, are used in various sectors of the food industry, not only for their exceptional taste but also as a natural, healthy, and medicinal food. Blackberries belong to the Rubus genus of the Rosaceae family, which also includes raspberries and wild blackberries. Ancient cultures considered blackberries a weed or wild plant, and their medicinal use dates back more than 2,000 years. Blackberries are used in desserts, such as preserves, juices, and jams, as well as in blackberry wine production.
Types of deep-frozen products:
Deep-frozen fruit is produced in accordance with IFS Food, GlobalGAP - HACCP standards. It is calibrated, impurities are removed, and it is packed as a final product according to customer standards and requirements.
